Production Coordinator

The Production Coordinator functions as the central, internal control point of assigned projects as they flow through the agency. The Production Coordinator operates with a sense of urgency and ownership, and takes on tasks with a positive and collaborative attitude.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Works with team to compose and manage project timelines and resource plans, and communicates job details to all parties involved – internal and external – including vendors
  • Participates in weekly Traffic / Project Management meetings to discuss / evaluate current agency projects
  • Collaborates with creative team to resource projects
  • Drives projects using established digital workflow tools
  • Tracks the status of jobs through the life of the project
  • Acts as a ‘process champion’ – reinforces the use of appropriate agency process and workflow with the internal team
  • Responsible for routing creative materials / deliverables as needed including final asset transfers to print / digital vendors.
  • Gain understanding of traffic procedures, including workflow process management, incorporating creative, media and production components
  • Serve as direct support for account service team to ensure produced spots and traffic are delivered efficiently for all media buys placed

Key Requirements: 

  • Qualified candidates must have 2+ years of agency experience (any kind of agency including advertising, marketing, communications, brand, design etc…)
  • Qualified candidates will have the ability to manage multiple, large projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing, deadline driven environment
  • Must have the flexibility and absolute ability to manage the work from planning to completion
  • Must be proficient with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Project management training and /or experience with creative workflow / resourcing tools a plus
  • Experience with project estimating / financial tracking a plus
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
