Subway partners with the Orlando Magic
Subway Restaurants and the Orlando Magic recently teamed up to hold the Kids Get Fit Giveaway, a promotion encouraging kids to make healthier lifestyle choices.
As agency of record for the Central Florida Subway market, Anson-Stoner promoted the sweepstakes utilizing in-store, online, radio and television creative backed by public relations efforts. The PR team secured press for the giveaway throughout the greater Orlando market, including securing interviews on WESH 2 News, Fox 35, and WKMG with Subway’s Jared, as well as garnering coverage online and on local radio stations.
Sixty lucky winners received two luxury suite tickets to the Orlando Magic vs. Philadelphia 76ers game, where each child and a guest enjoyed complimentary food, plus a meet and greet with Subway’s Jared and the Orlando Magic Dancers. At halftime, the winners were presented with a basketball signed by Jared and Glen “Big Baby” Davis, as well as a bicycle from David’s World Cycle.
