Treasure Beach Hotel

As snow blankets much of the northeast, we here at Anson-Stoner are packing our bags and heading to Barbados to visit our new client, Treasure Beach Hotel.

Treasure Beach was recently awarded “Best Small Romantic Luxury Hotel of the Year” by Caribbean World Magazine.  This luxury hotel is reportedly located on one of the best beaches on the island.

We look forward to getting the word out on this undiscovered gem in Barbados.  The agency will be responsible for all North American campaigns, which include branding, marketing, advertising, PR and social media.  Oh, and of course, our first initiative is to research the island, the property, culinary offers and island activities.

For the third consecutive year, Central Florida SUBWAY® restaurants were thrilled to salute veterans and active military on Veterans Day, giving away 27,500 complimentary 6-inch subs. Anson-Stoner Acquires Fareed Zapala Koepke

The ink is now dry:  Anson-Stoner officially acquires Fareed Zapala Koepke (FZK), a marketing consultancy that boasts an international reputation as a leader in hospitality marketing.

With this move, the agency gains a strong foothold in the hospitality, tourism and travel sectors. Clients include Peter Island Resort & Spa, The Fairmont Southampton, Skytop Lodge, Fernandez Bay Village, and The Reef.

In addition, Anson-Stoner welcomes four new members to our growing staff:

  • John Fareed, managing partner of FZK, joins Anson-Stoner as executive vice president
  • Nina Zapala takes on the role of director of public relations

On behalf of the Florida Department of Health, Bureau of HIV/AIDS and in conjunction with the Duval County Health Department, Anson-Stoner account executive Sarah Bridegroom was selected by the Bureau to share her expertise of HIV media relations at the International Visitor Corps of Jacksonville’s (IVCJax) most recent panel discussion.  “The Role of Media in the U.S., A Sub-Regional Project for Africa,” examined the role of media when addressing social issues.  Eleven African reporters were invited to attend.
